Authentic Expressions (Perspectives from Journeys Church)
One day an older man said to us "I'm pretty sure the phrase ‘but we've never done it that way before' has never been uttered in your church.'" That is a response to seeing some of our values lived out: flexibility and creativity. We get a lot of unique comments about our church - most reflect our values, identity and perspective. Many Christians agree with a lot of them in principle, but there is a varying response about whether they are willing to live them out.
